I quit the food coop. I'm finished. You will no longer have to read posts about how fucked up the community center and it's management is or about how nobody involved seems to understand the first thing about seasonal food. And I'm totally relieved.

In the interest of the food coop, I got to hang out with the goats (and ducks, chickens, sheep, a pony and a donkey) at the Spitalfields City Farm this morning. Today at my brand new job, an incredibly interesting exchange took place. A woman who I haven't met yet comes into the office at 5pm after finishing a two day-long training. Another woman in the office asks:
